Here is my Oldsmobile Intrigue I had about 5 years ago or so. I have some pictures of a bit of work that I did to it.

2000 Oldsmobile Intrigue Sterling Edition. We loved that car.

In the first pic you can see that the wipers are not parked. I had snow fall down the window as the wipers were on and after that the wipers wouldn't park. They still worked but they would stop upright when you turned them off. It drove me nuts.

I called to find the dealership or stopped by. I was told I would need a new wiper transmission and it was over $100. It might have been about $140. I decided to do some searching online and found out a small tab in the wiper transmission would bend and not grab the arm that would park the wipers. I decided to give it a try. Worst case was that I would have to buy the part that I needed anyway. Best case was I would save some money.

I took the wipers and the cover at the bottom of the windshield. The part in the center of the pic is where I need to go to try to fix the problem.

Here you can see it with the black cover off.

I can't find my picture that shows the tab well. It is there and a tap with a screw driver and a mallet fixed that problem. Took about 15 minutes or so. Well worth the time and effort.

I had a windshield washer motor go so I replaced that.

To get to the washer pump I had to remove the front passenger side wheel and inner fender.

This job took about 15-30 mins and was another job that was worth doing myself.

I have more pictures that I will add later.

I had a problem with the chrome coming off the inner lip of the rims which was causing a air leak. The cost to repair then and the fact that I didn't have a spare set of rims meant I had to replace them. This wasn't in the plans so I had to find something affordable. I ended up at a local tire shop and picked up a set of tires and rims for a decent price. We were happy with them.
