What do yall think is better, I have wondered this for sometime. Even though mud bogging started out with 2wd trucks I tend to like the 4wd trucks myself.

I guess it depends on what your doing. My Sonoma was a 2WD but that was only because everyone was over pricing their 4WD Sonomas and S10s. In most cases I would take a 4WD.

My 2wd did some good things for me but I would have loved to have the front wheels turning more then once. In the snow it was terrible until I put winters on it. It did pretty good then but 4 wd would have been nice.

Yeah I agree 4wd is always good to have no doubt about it. I would take 4wd over 2wd any day

We have an S10 and it's 4 wheel drive. We've had plenty of trucks and SUVs, most of which have been 4 wheel drive. I just don't see the use for such vehicles as a 2wd. Of course there are plenty of folks who have them and love them, but I just think if there's an option to go with 4WD why wouldn't you?

I think that 4wd is really handy. I live in a place where the terrain is not so friendly at times and i have been in situations where i knew for sure that i was utterly stuck and could not get out if it was not for my 4wd system and so i would go for it any given sunday.

The 4wd has always been superior to the 2wd, but they consume more gas, so if money is a problem then it's really not a practical choice. My preference would be the 4wd,but the 4wd models alone are expensive already as compared to the 2wd.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with everyone else here. The 4wd is superior you just can't rival that traction. <3

ok, 4 wheel drive all the way. I guess you can call me a worrier, but you are less likley to run into problems getting stuck either recreationally or during normal transit routes if you have a four wheel drive vehicle. Not to mention, they hold their resell value better than 2WD vehicles, so if you can afford it, then go for it and get the 4WD version.

I have an SUV so it is 4wd but I mostly use it in 2W mode. It is good to know though I have the option if I need to use the 4 wheel drive and I have done it when I am in the more desert areas.

I have always preferred 4WD mainly because I feel that it's more powerful. Some people also claim that 4WD has more traction and better acceleration but I'm not sure if that's true. Maybe if I'm on easy roads I'll switch to 2WD.

Well it does improve acceleration and whatnot it's just not all cars with 4WD have enough power in em to really see and feel the difference.
