When you just get your driving licence I imagine you are not careless, you are just inexperienced. Careless comes with age, so I have to agree with Cobra.

I don't know if the owner didn't care about her dog, or if she was just concerned about making the elderly lady feel like, "Hey, it's ok, no one is going to hurt you." You know, some people would get hysterical and start acting crazy if they see their dog laying in the street, just hit by a car. So maybe she just wanted to make sure that the elderly lady didn't panic.

And the people on the porch didn't come off the porch either, everyone just stayed up on the porch looking out onto the street. If that would have been my dog, I would have wanted to rush to it to see if it was still alive or not.

I guess instincts make us act at those times, I really don't know how I would react. I had a big accident a few years ago, my car's front was smashed, but fortunately no one got hurt and the first thing I did when I got out of the car was starting to eat chips I had...

Considering my city is considered to be one of the most dangerous cities in the country, I'm surprised that there aren't THAT many careless drivers in my area. There are a few, but definitely not enough to say that going out on the streets would be suicide.

To be honest I don't know what is worse, careless or reckless drivers. I have just returned to Lisbon from holiday and people here drive like crazy, it seems like a war is going on the roads, I had already forgot how this is... :(

I have the feeling that my location here needs foreword of more strict laws and compels to address the issue of poor driving and reckless drivers. Guys here really drive recklessly. You will not be amazed to discover that our area accounts for more than 5 fatal crashes each day. However I personally think the best rule should “Drive like a hoodwink! Kill people! Go to reformatory and resume your around such place about 15 years. "

You should come to the north of mexico, people over here drive like they have paws instead of hands, lol. No wonder there are a lot accident over here everyday. The drivers over here are totally reckless! The traffic over here isn't helping either. I also hate the fact most people cross the street and don't even look at the cars in the distance! That's really dangerous!

I'm not sure if I hate reckless or careless more. On one hand, reckless driving tends to create more fatalities. On the other, careless driving creates a LOT more fender benders and insurance claims, which increases premiums for everyone in the area.

Yeah, being new to driving is not related to careless driving. Even though I'm new to driving and I don't see myself as a "noob" driver, I know alot of people who find it hard to drive in some circunstances, to park, etc. About careless drivers, there are quite a few here. People that is impatient and drive over the sidewalk to skip a traffic queue, people that don't slow down on speed bumps, people that crash in the other cars while parking, etc.

There are careless drivers everywhere and it is one of the causes of road rage. Drivers are not willing to wait their turn and always in a haste to get to their destination, even when it is just around the corner. I have seen drivers scratching other vehicles and then blaming the driver for not getting out of their way in time. Almost everyday you can find one on the road driving as if life has no real value.

Careless drivers are always around. They don't care about anyone or anything but themselves. Eventually, they'll be in trouble for it. Just try to ignore them and stay farther away from them when you're driving. That's my general strategy. :)

Just remember Streakanime that any "work from home" thing you come upon on the internet that requires that you pay up front for a starter kit is most likely a scam.

A lot of careless drivers where my family is from in Italy. The roads are narrow and you constantly see drivers drive on the wrong side of these two lane highways to overpass you. Even if you are going over the speed limit there will always be someone who wants go to faster than you! It is nuts and I couldn't drive there. My cousins always offered me to drive their car and I just refused, I couldn't do it. I don't know how Rome or the big cities are, but this was a small mountain town in Italy and I have never seen anything like it.

The very sad thing is there are flowers on the side of the road almost every 500 metres. A lot of car fatalities there and no one seems to want to change their driving styles despite all the deaths.

Before I retired from driving bus, we would have these safety courses to go thru a few times a year. I remember one particular meeting when a spokesman from an insurance company came and spoke. He said one of the worst hazzards on the road was the old guy who retired and decided to buy a big motorhome to travel in. This guy has never driven anything bigger than a Buick. So next time you see a motorhome being driven by a senior citizen give him lots of room. It may be one of those guys the insurance guy was talking about. :wtf:

Michigan has a lot of careless drivers, I am always on the lookout of other drivers. I was in a total when I was 18 because a woman ran me off the road in the rain and I ended up hitting another car. needless to say she speed away and thank god there were witnesses because I did not get a ticket.

Hahaha, that's pretty funny actually, because it's true and it happens. I see a lot of people taking a lot of space even with smaller vehicles though. Some people just shouldn't drive, or at least, make an effort to learn and practise a bit more with an instructor.
Well, careless drivers are often found in France. You know, some youtubers I follow and watch came to France in a trip, from America and such. Let me tell you that some are already complaining that they almost for ran over. Here people don't like to stop on crossovers, so as a pedestrian, you need to be really careful.
