    Nice bike. Neat video. There is a really good book I read a few years back
    Rebuilding The Indian, by Fred Haefele, which pretty much tells the story of a guy who starts with a basketcase of Indian parts, and what he goes through.

    Sounds like a great book. Unfortunately here in Thailand I have a hard time looking for books written in English that I can afford. I usually go to the "Thai's for Life" bookstore which has tons of books...all used...but the price is good and all the profit goes to young Thai kids who need serious medical work and don't have the money. Perhaps one of these days I will find that one here!

    Yeah not likely to find the Rebuilding the Indian among the paperbacks at your local store. It is English and it is also a few years old. If did want a copy I would probably think either E-bay or maybe Amazon. Does Amazon work for where you are. I know that it is in England and Canada and the U.S.

    I can not use Amazon here...I don't know why but ebay is pretty good except the cost of shipment would probably put a very large dent in my budget! Sorry for the late reply...been offline for a bit.

    Vintage motorcycles do look great. Some guy who used to live next door to use would always work on restoring some old bike. I'm not sure how old it was, but he said it was a panhead. Have you ever heard of this type of bike?

    I'm a fan of vintage motorcycles myself, and I think the bike in the video looks awesome. For 1938 this bike looks so good, excellent restoration.

    Panhead is an older Harley engine. Some Harley guy might say he had a Panhead for
    a few years but got an EVO two years ago and it was a real improvement.
    Basically the engines were identified. They were all v-twins and they were all
    Harleys but the vintage or the era determined if it was an Evo (Evolution) or a Panhead or a
    knucklehead. But I guess all you really wanted to know was that it was an older Harley Davidson.
