I am also an MMA fan. Here in Southeast Asia MMA is quite popular and it airs several times a week. Believe me I try not to miss it every time it airs. I particularly like to watch the ladies get it on. Sometime they are more interesting than the guys.

I'm definitely a combat sports person for sure. Anything that has to do with boxing, kickboxing, amateur wrestling, MMA etc. I'm into. There's something about not having anybody else to rely on, like a team when you're in your chosen sport. And I like the fact that it's just one man or one woman against another and they can only rely on their own skills and training to get them through.

I still love my team sports, specifically basketball and football. As far as basketball, it's the Lake show all day baby!! I have to represent the home team coming from Los Angeles. Although this season I'm leaning more towards the Clippers for various reasons. For football, I've always been a Chargers and 49ers fan. Although they did fail this Super Bowl but at least made it somewhat of a game.

My hat is off to you! You are a person after my own heart. We like the same California teams. You see I'm originally a Californian born in Los Angeles so almost any California team gets my nod. Oh well there's always next season huh?

My favorite sports are volleyball and soccer. I don't mind watching football and basketball occasionally. I much prefer seeing any game in person over on TV, except of course football in the middle of a Chicago winter :)

I certainly can relate to that. I used to live in Kansas which has the same weather as Illinois. Watching the sport events like football on the telly was much more comfortable.

I'm not a huge fan of team sports like basketball, football or soccer. Yawn. I love motocross, tennis and skateboarding though. I find them exhilarating, and the fans a lot less obnoxious than other sports team fans.

Sometimes there is more entertainment watching the fans at sporting events than the athletes themselves. Almost any competitive sport has their goon fans trying to get in on the action. Even NASCAR has their burly, PBR drinking fools flaunting their favorite drivers rep down your throat....this type of behavior is comical to me as they have nothing to do with the outcome of the game/sport, yet they act like they do.

I forgot to check boxing. I mostly enjoy the young kids our of Mexico who really have heart. NASCAR is great but it is hard to find here in Thailand. And the other check is for elbow bending. I am not athletic at all but the elbow bending I could easily get trophies for!

My favorite sport is definitely MMA. Nothing else is even close. I also enjoy NASCAR and bull riding. I cheer for some football and baseball teams but rarely watch. I'll also watch boxing at times. The UFC is the only one that I mark down on the calendar, though.

Yeah me too. I even caught the round by round wrap of the last UFC on the internet (just commentary - I didn't get to see the fight - main event was Ronda Rousey). It seems there are a number of MMA fans here, including our admin Flexin.

Looking at the chart at the top, I wonder how many of the favorite sports - other choice are referring to Mixed Martial Arts? I think there are currently eight votes for other under favorite sport. I might guess that a good percentage of that come from MMA fans.
If all of the eight were naming MMA I guess the mixed martial arts / UFC would be second only to football.
    Just a thought.

I do not know about in the states but here in Thailand mixed martial arts would be number one followed closely by Boxing. There are three channels on the tube that air those compitions frequently.:)

I like all kinds of sports. It really depends on the mood I am in. I like tennis because it forces me to move around and focus on a ball. I like table tennis too (also known as ping pong).

I too was a tennis player along with ping pong. Both sports were good to stay fit and keeping good hand to eye coordination. On the down side they probably have contributed to my arthritis over the years from the various joint injuries I experienced while competeing for many years especially in my ankles and knees. :(

Mine is definitely football, I've been watching it for years. I'm not talking about soccer either, I would rather watch golf than soccer. Football is a much more interesting game, but I'm sure I'll get flamed for that!

Being from Toronto Canada I have to say hockey has to be my favorite sport. I still enjoy soccer but since it's an all German final now for the Champions, I won't be watching it anymore. Not that I have anything against Germans, I'm just a huge Real Madrid fan.

James, I thought based on your picture that you might have actually been a professional fighter or something. You definitely look like you have the ability for UFC or something.
