The "Founding Member" ribbon looks awesome under my profile pic. Makes me feel like I have won the grand prix.

 

I know just how you feel. I feel the same way but instead of the "Grand Prix", for me it would be the "Indy' 500. That is a race I have always dreamed of driving in. In my dream I win it of course and become a big racing champion.

 

Sort of off topic, but that reminds me that I live near two small county race tracks. I've always wanted to see if I could somehow buy someone off and let me run a few laps around the track during an actual race.

I too have had that desire but I was never able to make it happen. The closest I have come to racing is I did a bit of "drag racing" in my "Firebird" in my younger days. I still have the desire but I am afraid age has caught up with me. Oh well maybe in my next life I'll be a race car driver.

 

Yep, when it comes to reading with my eye sight I prefer black or dark blue print. No offense but looking at it on the page is a bit uncomfortable on my eyes. My congratulations to you as well.

 

It's never too late to be the person you were always meant to be.

 

If only that were true however advanced age and slowing reflexes preclude any chance of getting behind the wheel of a Ferrari for example. Oh well maybe in my next life.

Yep me too. I never heard that one before. I always heard "there may be snow on the roof but there's fire in the furnace". It means basically the same thing I think.
