The 300C I currently have we had since 2005 when it was new and it has around 90,000 kms on it. That's about 60k miles I think........

I also have a Mercedes Sprinter van (which I think are badged as a Dodge on the other side of the pond) that has 160,000 miles on it - so that means it's just run in. I really should consider changing the oil........

That started out with the Dodge badges but I see both running around now.

I used to sell Mercedes parts a few years ago. When those vans first came out in the US, we did a roaring trade shipping front grilles (with the Mercedes star on) over to the US. It seems many people wanted to get rid of that hexagonal (octagonal?) Dodge badge and have a Mercedes star there instead.

I bought my car almost two years ago now. It is a 2010 Civic SI, purchased around September. It is really a great car, and I've had no issues with it at all yet (knock on wood).

Most of my driving is from the house to my University, but I'll go ahead and admit that those 16k miles are really hard driven miles. Aside from stop and go traffic in the city, I learned how to drive a stick on it AFTER I bought it. :)

Now it will take a beating once again since my wife wants to learn how to drive it too! Uh oh. :(

    How is that possible?

You just continue to replace the parts that are broken?

Maybe I should get one for myself.

    I've always wanted a bike.

I should sign up for the license course...!

Is it hard to learn how to shift bike?

I didn't know how to drive a manual car until I just bought one and learned ON it. Haha.

    Think I'd be okay?

I assume because they don't want to chase them.

    That's for two reasons.

    1. They can't catch you.

    2. It's not worth the cyclist's life over a ticket.

its entirely different then a car...you cant even really compare the two most importantly your brake speed and clutch is in your hand and your gears are at your feet... the shifter normally is down 1st up nuetral up 2 2nd up 3 3rd so it takes some getting used to...like a atv really
