This is a brand new idea that combines the skiing motions of the elliptical trainer, with the mobility of a bicycle; and the idea of it is catching on at an amazing speed.
Rather than sitting, or standing on the pedals, with the ElliptiGO bike, you slide your feet just like you would if you were cross-country skiing. Many sports enthusiasts, and athletes are now switching from riding a regular bicycle or exercise bike, to being able to enjoy the ride at the same time they are training for a sports event.
Will this replace regular bicycles ? I am not sure, but it does look like it would be fun to try riding one !

I'm not a big exercise nut, but that does look like fun. I don't think they will ever take over regular bikes but I do think they'll be popular.

That looks cool. I would love to try it. Some eliptical have a range of motion that bothers my hips or knees. It might be the stride length. So this could feel great or be a hell ride. LOL. I'm going to have to check out the EliptiGO website out.

I don't think they would replace all bikes. That version wouldn't do that great off road. But I don't think it needs to replace all bikes to do well.

It's my first time seeing one of those. They're quite unique and I guess a lot of fun to be on too. The riders seem to be having more fun than experiencing any strain from cycling.

Looks like a lot of fun! I like how it is designed and that its low impact, comfortable and easy to ride. I hope to see these in Asia soon.
