I was thinking about doing something like this and R. Paradon mentioned it in the build thread contest. So here it is.

    The rules
    • Sign up (can't post if your not a member)
    • Start a model build thread in the builds section. It can be a car, truck, tractor trailer, motorcycle, plane or boat.
    • Be the first to 150 replies (your posts count as replies)
    • Have 5 different members post in your thread (my posts count toward that 5 so you really only need 4 more)
    Prize
    • A Gearhead Central t shirt (when they become available which won't be too long now. Lets say before the end of July to be safe. I want them this month.)
    • Promoted to "Founding Member" user groups and all benefits that will come with it.
    • Model build thread banner under your avatar. Just like my Founding member one.
So start your thread today and start working toward your first prize. There will be other prizes at other levels so keep working on it.

    Thanks
    James

Thanks, James! The next time I go to the city I will pick up a kit and start! Sorry for my lack of activity here lately, had some assignments with deadlines and they kept me busy.
