    I've wondered if something like this existed. It'd been really nice if my apartment complex had of had these, a few of my neighbors had their bikes stolen before they installed security cameras. Wouldn't it be crappy though if someone parked in front of it? Would you have to wait until the next guy left to get your bike, or can it slide off without being turned back around? I guess if it was a reserved spot and you and your wife or someone shared the spot it wouldn't be so bad, but I'd worry about it. Or the jerks that pull up too far and would ultimately end up smacking it.

    It would have to be a dedicated parking spot. I think they would cut down on theft. I would hate to see what the monthly fee would be if the building owned it.

    That's a smart idea and it doesn't seem to take much time either. My only concern though is , is it really that safe because there is someone out there who is still going to try to beat that security idea.
