That car cause me so much grief between me and my family. I was 19 young and dumb, I got 19 points in 6 months and I burned off 22 sets of back tires in 1 summer. I drive a 2005 Ford Taurus now and I drive it like the old man that I am lol.

Nice Stang. I like the color. I wanted one of them. Did you buy new tires ? With the price of tires now you can buy a nice car for the price of 22 tires.

Thanks, I bought the tires used theres no way I could afford to put new ones on as fast as I was burning them off lol. If I could only go back in time and slap the shit out of myself for driving like that I probably would still have the car today.

Damn man, 19 points in 6 months and 22 sets of tires in one summer? That's a hell of a lot of money in tickets and tires, especially at 19.

I owned the car for about a year and a half. I sold it right before I got my license back because I didn't want to loose my license again. If I would have kept the car it would only have been a matter of time before I lost my license again.

What does that mean, 19 points?? :sorry::sorry:

And 22 sets of back tires, 44 tires in a year and a half? I can't even imagine what your driving must have been like.

Don't be too hard on yourself about the mistakes you made when you were a teenager. Most people are 'young and dumb' at 19.
My son is 19 years old, and he's a really good kid, but still does his share of dumb stuff. I give him all kinds of 'passes', and "get out of trouble free cards" (along with a nice long lecture about why what he did was so stupid;)) because I've been there, done that.

If I could go back and change some of the things that I did at 19, things would be sooooo different for me now, but hey, you can't do that.
You live (and hopefully) you learn. As the old saying goes, "If I would've known then what I know now..."

Yeah, I agree with you here, I know that probably most people feel like they wish that they could go back and change some things, although I have heard people say that if they could go back, they would not change a thing, because everything that they went through made them into the person that they are today. That's true, one is the sum total of their experiences.

In my case, like I said in my post, live and hopefully you learn. It seems to take me a looooong time to learn from my mistakes:).
