Soccer

So, is anyone into soccer? (or football as the rest of the world calls it)

What are your favourite teams, players, goals and so on?

 

I like soccer, but playing it rather than watching it: I usually play a defensive role because I'm not a good striker but I can see people's intentions in their face, so I can stop them easily.

Watching soccer can be really boring for me, so I don't usually watch it.

 

I have been watching soccer (influenced by my father) since the age of 9. Till today, I still do not understand why America football is called "Football"

I am a fervent supporter of Liverpool F.C and my dream is to visit Anfield one day! Best if it is a match vs Manchester United!

 

I love football very much. I am not good in playing football but I always watch football matches around. My favorite football team is Real Madrid.

 

Oh football, football or the rest of the world call it soccer! One of the best sports in the world. I like the German national team the most, but other such Arsenal, Barcelona or Portugal are as well in my list.

 

Same here, since I can remember my father and uncles used to watch football, and such football is what in America is called simply "soccer."

In fact I didn't understand yet what Football Association is about, sort of nonsense (to me) tactics towards scoring.

And no, I don't have any soccer favorite, but I'm always looking forward to see Germany wining the World Cup Championship
