I believe the toughest road I've ever driven on was near our ex-house at "Le Saléve", a French mountain. It's a quite tight road, no side protections in most of the parts and it's full of curves. It's 5 km long and very, very inclined. With snow it's a pain and sometimes impossible to do it, unless you're driving a 4 wheel drive with chains.

Well I would have to say that those under-developed roads that will make your ride bumpy, and when it rains it gets worse because it's not really neatly cemented and the cement is uneven. Just imagine roads with craters.

The toughest road I've ever driven on is in the countryside of our island. My family has lots of land there and I still have relatives living there so I visit them from time to time. They have the worst roads ever and so taxi cabs won't take the residents to their homes. Those there who own a car and others who need to go there will struggle along but drivers over all are fearful that they will cause damage to their vehicles.
