A friend told me that I got tricked by a gasoline station. is it possible where the gasoline counter will actually count the air going into your tank? and that instead of having 25 liters it will just be 24 and 1 liter is just the air getting inside?

I believe all pumps have to be tested every so often to make sure that they are selling what they are charging for.

I know where I live in North Idaho the pumps are tested atleast every year if not more often. There is a certified state tester that does this, then he leaves a lable with his name and date on it. I have heard a way to test for yourself if you are getting the right amount, is to pump exactly $1.00 worth (or $10) and multiply that per gallon to make sure it is right.
