These vintage bikes look pretty awesome. I like the one featured at 0:45. They should really bring back this look. I especially like how the frame is and the wheels. I'm not sure if it would be comfortable to sit on.

I'm sure that if you have one vintage motorcycle and if it's in good condition, then it can fetch a lot of money on Ebay.

Very cool I remember a few of those. Indians. They are back and now owned by Victory.
A bit too pricy. I also remember when a 650 BSA was considered a big bike.
Now a 750 (I had a 750 Honda Shadow ACE) was seen as a starter.
Anyway too cool vid. I enjoyed it. And I am still riding. Honda VTX 1300

My first bike (and still my favorite) was an early sixties Triumph Tiger Cub. It only had about 200 cc's but I loved it because it could take any terrain ~ highway to hills!

I think I remember that one. Anyway I got interested in riding (a year or two before I got my first bike) and BSA and Triumph and Norton were cool rides. Anyway Triumph is back and still around.

The first bike looks like a good ol' military panhead to me, I've never seen one in red before. The first sidecar looks a little strange too, I wonder what the guy in it was so happy about. Nortons are STILL cool rides, imo.

What really amazes me is the amount of cc's in some of those old bikes. Given the road conditions (have to ask bigal) in those days it could really be squirrelly hitting the red line and keeping up!

When I first started riding, which was late '60s, if you had a 650 BSA or Triumph or a Norton you had what was seen as a serious bike. When I got back riding, with the bike prior to this one (This one being the 1300 Honda VTX) it was a 750 Honda Shadow ACE, a 750. People would call it a nice beginner bike.
Actually I had it for 12 years. Served me well. Do I like the 1300 better. Yeah but I sure didn't need that size the second year I got back in the wind. Back with the vintage bikes, I remember Harley putting out 250s and the Harley 74 cubic inch machine was considered a monster. In fact when Honda first came out with the Goldwing it was 1,000 ccs. It is now 1800 ccs and there are bigger bikes out there from major companies. Not even mentioning monsters like the Boss Hoss. Which is quite the machine but not one I would want.

For me, nothing beats a classic Ariel Cyclone or a Triumph

I love vintage vehicles, especially motorcycles since they all tend to look good. Where I live there's this aging pot bellied man that always roars by on a Harley Davidson. Once it was parked right near my house and I couldn't pull myself away from it. So...beautiful.

My dad doesn't like Harley Davidsons though; he says they make too much noise so he wants a Truimph.

I actually don't think Harleys make much more noise than other bikes, only when you change to aftermarket pipes or knock the baffles out. When I got this Honda I now have it had aftermarket pipes and it was a bit too loud for me. It also ran like crap with the aftermarkets. The dealer put the stock pipes on, it ran better and
the residents in my apartment don't get pissed off.

I liked that video. And the three Hondas, a 305 scrambler, which I still think is cool.
and of course the iconic 50 cc. Cub that she was riding. The third, was it a Honda Dream maybe?
Yeah I enjoyed it and I have a liking for Mamie I never had before.
Oh and this image ties in well IMHO Brigitte Bardot on a classic chopped Harley.
This is pretty iconic. It is actually from a French music video.

Let's see...in 1964 I was all of 19 so they missed out on not choosing me for their "toy boy"! Silly ladies!

Lets see, in '64, I was, well just starting high school, so you got me by a year or two. I was coming out of grade 8 and starting high school.
But I had the BB poster on my wall in first year at university. She had her wall and Peter Fonda from the Wild Angels movie had another. Now I have a framed Brando Wild One poster. All were Black and White.

Cool! I was not allowed to have anything on my walls when I was growing up except paint! But now...LOL...it is so different! Actually not by too much...I have a few Buddhist posters and a black and white original Chinese horse painting.
