    Legendary custom bike brand West Coast Choppers will be relaunched, owner Jesse James told Cyril Huze in an exclusive interview.

    Jesse James stopped building bikes almost 4 years ago, but it looks like the quality of his craft outlives his (former) desire to take a definitive break. As Cyril Huze reports, Jesse was convinced into reviving WCC by the huge amount of support and praise his work has gathered in time, and by the fact that his creations, including apparel and other gear are still much sought after.

    With more 186,000 Twitter followers and 59,000 Facebook likes, Jesse James promises that his new business will not be centered on “more and bigger” principles but on quality solely. Remembering the time when WCC grew too big in too short a time, James emphasizes that he will take his time for building the new bikes, so that the finished product would represent exactly his philosophy in this respect.

    I'm happy to hear this. I can't afford them but I love his work. I love how he likes to use old school methods with his bikes as well.

    I know his bikes, and I even remember the show, Monster Garage. Of course Monster did not deal much with bikes. Jesse James and West Coast was one of the major names in choppers, along with Orange County. Both of them did some major marketing and got well outside the area of bikes and bike related stuff. Yeah you would see the Chopper Cross on hats and shirts worn by people who I am sure did not even know what a hardtail or a knucklehead was.
    Still I personally liked Exile better. They looked a lot more rideable and real and less show bike art.
    And another big name, prior to Jesse James was Arlen Ness,who is now associated with Victory.

    I also like Exile. They are two different styles. I like both for different reasons.

    I remember Arlen Ness as well.

    Monster Garage and some of the other shows were good. I liked the bike build offs as well.

    I liked the custom choppers made by him. I remember watching his show on how he would make them. I was wondering what ever happened to him and his show. I guess cause of the scandals and everything else is reason enough for him not to make an appearance on television.

    Well he had a falling out with Discovery and everything. He doesn't seem to shy away. He spends a lot of time on twitter talking to fans. I think he is using it well to connect with them. I think he just found his love for building again and wants to keep it small. I think that is when he enjoyed himself the most. I'm sure it gives him more time to be creative and do things his way.

    He had a falling out with them after the divorce. That whole situation with him and Sandra Bullock was a very strange brew. The press claimed he was racist, yet Sandra had adopted a black child from another country. But no one really knew if that was her decision or his and hers. Then they got divorced, and he was kind of the fall guy. It was just weird. Him and her were weird.

    Yeah James was the fall guy but I sorta got the impression that fidelity
    was not part of the Jesse James lifestyle so to speak.
    I actually don't know if he was a racist.

    The fallout with Discovery was to do with an event he was going to do for the soldiers. The only thing I heard about racism was a woman they say he was fooling around with. She had some Nazi type photos or something and some tattoos that were questionable.
