Who is going to watch the first UFC event on FS1, August 17?

    Fox is debuting a new channel called Fox Sports 1 which is dedicated to, yup, sports. It's going to be the first card on the channel, so it's completely stacked. Chael Sonnen is fighting Shogun Rua in the main event. Then there's:

    Overeem v. Browne
    Faber v. Alcantara
    Matt Brown v. Pyle
    Uruah Hall v. John Howard
    Lauzon v. Michael Johnson
    Pickett v. Michael Mcdonald
    Conor McGregor v. Max Holloway

    This card is better than the last PPV card, and it's free. If you are watching it, make some predictions.

    I think Shogun is going to completely demolish. Also by the way, this channel will be really good in the near future.

    I still love Boxing though, but thats another thread..ha

    I will have to see if I have that channel. If I do I might watch it since it is free. I just turned back on the Sportsbook. I put up the MMA card for tommow. Let me know if there are any issues when using the sportsbook since I just updated it to work with the new forum update. Thanks.

    I just placed 3 wagers, works fine. I like the layout, too. I'm from Canada, so I don't know if it'll be available with my TV provider, I know Fuel wasn't. Hopefully I can get it so I can actually watch the fights in HD from home.

    Man, McGregor did really well against Holloway, much better than I thought he would. And apparently his knee slipped out midway through the 2nd round, but he still dominated with the grappling. By the way, if you're in Canada, Sportsnet 360 is basically the equivalent of Fox Sports 1.

    I have it on now. I not a fan of grappling so I turned it on at the right time. There is a lot of striking by Micheal Johnson right now.

    How was that for a knockout? I can't believe Browne survived that barrage by Overeem. Dude is as tough as they come. With one more solid win, I think his right to the title shot is undeniable.
