Will Americas economy go up in the next ten years?

In the past decade we have been faced with an economy downfall. In all parts of the world but specifically in America do you think It's safe too think that America will start to rise again?

 

That's a tough question, I think that it's possible though, as long as the dollar retains it's purchasing power/value and it won't devaluate.

 

I think it will take the American people finally getting tired of the foolish decisions made by our politicians. The people are the only hope at this point. But, they will have to get really serious about addressing a government that's totally out of control (on both sides of the isle). The American spirit is very resilient when it's fully sparked. I think we're getting very close to what's needed.

Without the American people intervening, NO, the economy won't turn around. If the politicians wanted that, there actions would have been very different over the past ten years. Most, if not all, are guilty. The elections in 2014 will be a significant omen for the future. If there aren't massive changes in Washington, forget about it. It will be time to hunker down for a long, rough ride.

 

It's very possible that America will rise again, however, with the rate our government is going, we'll either need to get their butts on track or replace the entire government which wont happen unless something happens like on the show Jericho, very very unlikely, I also think it's very unlikely that America will rise again within the decade, maybe two? Who knows, our government needs to get their gear box fixed!

 

I don't know much about what happening in US economy but I wish a rise in US economy because many other economies are depending on it. The decline in US economy affect other economies badly.

 

They always try to tell is that things are improving, but more and more businesses are closing, more folks are losing their homes and jobs, and I really don't see things improving , at least right away.
Maybe in the next ten years they will, since it seems like things go in cycles. Hopefully, we are close to the bottom of the cycle, and ready to start heading back into a better Economy.
China has been taking over a lot of the worlds manufacturing, since they have basically slave labor, and can sell everything really cheap and still make a profit. America , on the other hand, has a lot of the population into, or nearing retirement age. Coupled with most factories moving overseas due to heavy taxation here, we are just in no position to be a leader in the world economy at this point.
