Which of these machines do you have or prefer for gaming? I currently have a gaming PC I built myself that I really enjoy, but I am thinking about maybe picking up a next-gen console. The PS4 is looking really nice, but I know I will HAVE to play the next Halo on Xbox One so I'm really torn...What about all of you?

Welcome to Gearhead Central @turklife Go Dallas!!! :)

I have a computer but I don't do any gaming on it anymore. I use it to run this site.

I use my PS3 for gaming. I bought it last year thinking the PS4 would be $700. I was wrong. I will look at the 4 late this year or early next year. The PS3 can move to my bedroom.

That is the plan anyway. I never buy a system when it is first released. I wait for more titles to come out and for a price drop. Not worried about a drop on the PS4 because it isn't in a bad spot now.

I will be looking forward to the new Grand Turismo on the PS4.

I want to get an xbox one or ps4 but don't know which one is better. From what I hear, they both bring good qualities to the table. I might wait a little later this year so i can fully do some research on both consoles before jumping out there.

Did anyone else hear about how XBox is now in some hot water for using fake Youtube reviews to promote their products?

    http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2014/...osoft-paying-youtubers-for-xbox-one-mentions/

Apparently they were paying people through PopTent to create positive reviews of the new Xbox. The user agreements leaked which stated they were not allowed to say anything negative about it, which I would imagine is in violation of Google's policies as well as illegal too (not disclosing you're being paid for a fake review).

I have a 360 and moved to the PS4 this gen mainly because I want to vary up the games that I play. If I bought the Xbox One, I'll probably be playing sequels to the games that are on the 360 right now. I alternate between the two companies each generation.

The only gaming console I had was a Game Boy Color, so of course I would prefer a pc over the other consoles.

I'm getting an Xbox One because I want to play Titan Fall when it releases in February. I thought about buying a PS4 but most of my friends are playing on the Xbox.

I want to add that with the recent news about how the PS4 does 60fps, I'm more convinced that my decision was right. Not to mention, the line up of games announced for the PS4 now suits my gaming preference.
