On my part if I were to pick up a hitch-hiker then I'd stop only for someone at a spot where I can all around me [to ensure there's no one waiting to ambush me once I stop] and the hitch-hiker should be carrying nothing. If they have some fancy bag or luggage I'll roar right...

The North Yungas Road, also known as The Death Road, is a 61 to 69 km road leading from La Paz to Coroico (Bolivia's capital, to the Amazon region) in the Yungas region of Bolivia. It is legendary for its extreme danger: in 1995 the Inter-American Development Bank christened it as the "world's most dangerous road. " One estimate is that 200-300 travelers were killed yearly along the road.
This is just messed up. How can they tell him he can't park in his own driveway but it is ok for him to park in the street? If it is fine being parked in the street then I would park it in front of the complaining neighbors house. I don't see how it affects them at all. I can see if it was a project truck that he has been meaning to start for the last 10 years and is half covered by a tarp.
