This is my 1984 Camaro, I bought it back in High School around 92 or so.
I drove this car pretty much into the ground, by driving it to Seattle and back each day for work. When the cruddy V6 finally gave out, I had to decide what to do with it. Scrap it, or restore it.

I decided to restore it, but make it better than how it was new. So I bought a 92Z28 as a parts car, and started to swap everything out. I added the GFX, swapped out the V6 for the 5.7 V8, put the newer...
This is my first turbo subie and first manual car ever. It was a rough ride at first because I had to spend some money on replacing a blown turbo, timing belt, water pump, brakes etc.
Once she was fixed, I did my first ever track day and autocross with her and she performed admirably. No overheating, check engine lights and most importantly, I didn't wreck it.

I think once she reaches...

I have a dear friend who has worked with me for years. She had bought a Camaro brand new and continued to sink so much money in it over the years, she was sort of committed to the project. On one of its major trips to the "car hospital" the repair was delayed waiting for parts. Delayed for months.
So I see an older clean Cadillac on the side of the road. I drive past it for a month admiring its clean lines and general condition. Finally I stop on a whim and decide to give my friend a...
