What do you listen to while in the truck?

Well, I didn't drive a truck, but I did have a few jobs that required a lot of driving. So, there were some times that I would listen to sports talk, the radio, but for the most part, I would listen to my mini discs. I had a mini disc player with a slave CD player.

 

I do not drive a truck either, but I prefer my mp3 player hooked up to the radio. I like to play my death metal and rock music really loud. I play other stuff on occasion... But, that is mostly what is on the mp3 player, haha. Do you have a specific kind of music you listen to while you are driving?

 

Similar to the others, I don't have a truck, but I do spent a lot of time in the car. Google Play is a service that lets you load 20,000 songs onto google's harddrives. With this app, I can play the songs on my android phone and connect that to the car. Pretty sleek. The Civic comes with a built in jack for plugging a, "male" end for lack of a better term, into (from the phone's headphone slot). Mostly, I listen to electronic dance or hiphop.

 

I've never heard of Google Play. Sounds interesting though.
I will still stick with my mp3 player. If I really needed to, I could hook my laptop up to the AUX jack and listen to music that way until the battery dies. That being said, I really need a laptop and not a netbook before I do that. I cannot exactly fit much music on a netbook.

 

I kick it old school with my 5 CD changer supported by a nifty 10-cd wallet attached to my sun visor.

 

I just listen to the radio. I hate it sometimes, because there are times that I can't find any good songs on, and then I just get frustrated.

 

This week, I happen to be on an Aerosmith kick. I have been singing "Sweet Emotion" at the top of my lungs.

 

I don't have a truck too, but I think that when driving a manly vehicle, the driver (if male) should listen to "manly" music as well, like rock music. It kind of fits the image of the truck right? Lol.

I do drive a truck, although not a commercial truck but my Ranger is a truck. I usually opt for
a music CD, Grateful Dead and Ray Wylie Hubbard (Snake Farm) are in there now.
Grateful Dead, yeah I admit it, it goes back about 40 years. What the hell I like it.
And no I do not have an eight track player in the truck. Actually I never got into 8-tracks.
I did have cassette players in a few of my cars. Then made a move to cds.

Yeah you got a point, it all boils down to the personality of the driver. I guess I was just influenced by some of the movies that I've seen where the truck drivers have rock music blaring on their speakers, lol.

 

I don't have a truck, but I listen to my music in my car on a satellite radio. And I never get bored listening to it because it has all kinds of different songs.

 

when in my truck i normally have a CD in the player .

 

I am afraid to mention that I haven't driven a truck yet but when in my Volvo I love listening to mp3s. I love rock and commercial music thus if i were to listen to a radio it would be very hard to enjoy this.

 

Count me in the group of people who do not drive a truck, but I remember to be aboard a truck with mu Uncle driving overnight and enjoying those conversations they had over the CB.

Later I managed to get my own CB at home until I was caught by my parents and "advised" to stop using it when the neighbors found from where those chats interfering with their TV signals came from.

 

When driving my uncles truck I usually listen to his home theater which he has fitted somewhere behind the seats. I love its fantastic music. The equalizers are a bit standard and i believe no one would ever find any vehicle having such.

 

I don't truck 18wheelers but I have my line up of country music on my mp3 when im in my pickup. That's the only thing i can put up with in my ears. Also the cd's skip when i hit mud holes.
