Gas! I hate the cost of gas! Especially since I have to drive somewhere almost every day.

Right now, the gas station up the road is $3.65/gallon. If I use the card they issue that is attached to my debit card, I save 10 cents/ gallon. That is a great savings.

Also, there is a store near me with gas rewards. Ever $10o you spend, you get 10 cents. Also, there are various promotions to earn more. Right now I am at a 70 cent savings. But the catch is you can only get 20gallons, and you can only do one transaction. My van does not hold 20 gallons...almost but not quite. So I like to be on E when I use this savings, to get the most out of it.

I just put in gas last week, and out here in Alabama, it was $3.15 for regular. That was not the name brand, like Chevron, but it was at Mapco, which seems to carry decent fuel.
You never know any more what fuel is going to cost, since it seems to jump from day to day, although it has been fairly stable at a lower price after we passed Labor Day weekend the first of last month .
I try to keep my fuel tank around 3/4 to full, and when I get down around 3/4 of a tank, then I out in gas again.i have a Chevy Cavelier, and I try and alternate between the cheapest fuel, and the premium, or at least the mid-range choice, so that it gets a little higher octane, and the fuel additives.

I envy you, in Toronto the gas is heavily taxed so it's usually $1.20-1.30 per litre which is roughly $4.54-4.91 per gallon. Sad thing is, this is the cheapest gas has been in a while but it's costing me an arm and a leg.

Here in Nova Scotia it is $1.25 for regular which is about $4.59/gallon. At $3.15 I might not shut the car off. Lol. We hit $1.36 ($4.99) or so this year. I remember when it was well under a dollar. Those were the days.

Wow!!! You guys really pay a lot! When it was $4/gallon here, we really had to limit driving. As it is now, I try to limit or carpool... but it's not always easy....

Southern California the best I found was regular for $3.89 out in the boonies last night. Near the major cities, we are paying $4.07 for regular and $4.23 so far (October 2013) and that is the "cheap-o" stations.

I have similar prices to James here in Ottawa but the highest I've seen it go to was $1.45/L for regular, which should translate to around $5.30/gal. I shudder whenever I have to fill up the BMW's 55L tank with premium fuel haha. -.- Every few months I drive down to Ogdensburg, NY to pick up car parts and always fill up there, it's a crazy difference!

If I should convert my costs here, I would be paying approximately 2 USD per liter for gas. It is expensive here though. The cost of petrol goes religiously every week.

I guess our economy is not as advanced as yours, so will most naturally pay more. I remember the days when we use to pay JMD80, or USD 0.80 for petrol. Those days are long gone.

In the country where I live, we pay $0.60 per liter. That's close to a dollar and this is an essential commodity needed for almost everything. This is quite high right.

60 cents US? That is cheap. It hasn't been that low here in over 10 years I would say.

Gas is about 1.30/l here on average. My car is also tuned for 93 octane, so that usually adds another 15 cents per litre or so on the price tag. I guess you have to pay to play :)

Here at France it really varies in which station you fill up. I fill up at ~1.39 euro/litter, but I see stations with petrol for 1.60 euro/litter, so the difference is big.

In Northern Michigan we fluctuate from 3.39 to 3.59 in USD, so it's not too bad I guess :)

I do remember when I was young though it used to be around 1.50-2.00 though. >.<

When I was young, I remember fuel being under 1 euro per litter and people was still complaining it was expensive, now it's double and everyone still fills up. Hehehe

After reading some posts... I must say we seem to be paying much less for our gas over here. But it's considered high over here... mostly because well, it's a different country and our economy isn't that good. So for us it is expensive, but for others living in other countries might sound super cheap. Salaries over here aren't even that high

Gas here is finally starting to come down. One of my local stores has gas for $2.95, which is the lowest it's been in a long time. I hear it's going to come down more and I'm looking forward to that. I look forward to being able to ride around a little more.

Local currency here costs USD0.70 per litre for regular and USD0.90 per liter for premium. Premium fuel price fluctuates from time to time due to it being based on global oil price. The prices here are considered quite high against the average earning per person. I have to pump every 2 weeks so that amounts to USD25 a month, sometimes more if I have to use extra. Direct conversion seems cheap but it's not when factoring in with purchasing power.
