Well, I think tinted is more ideal than the not one. Personally, I feel it is safer also when you have a tinted one since people can not see what do you have inside your car. So for example if you forget some valuable things inside it won't attract thieves to smash your window or break in your car. Sp for safety purpose, I will go for tinted.

I'm seriously considering tinting my windows after years of driving untinted. It'll improve the look of my car too.

I see. Here in the Philippines, goverment people and privileged personalites are allowed heavy tints, but there is a tint limit for regular people. But as expected, it's not being implemented at all, I see heavily tinted cars all the time on the main roads.

Tinted. I'd feel naked without tinted windows! Over here they forbade us from using the really dark coloured ones, so we had to remove some and had to look for lighter ones. All because of the high criminality rates over here... the ones on the back can be of the dark coloured kind tho. Our car's windows were non tinted for some days (front ones) until we could find the right shade... (not too dark, not too light). I felt so naked :nailbiting:

When it comes on to privacy , I would prefer tinted but not too dark since I wouldn't want to get into any trouble with the law. Apart from privacy, tinted car windows actually protects you and your car dash board and leather seats from the sun so it is a good thing to have the windows tinted.

I like a light tint. it keeps sun glare down and gives you a modicum of privacy in your car, which is grat when I sing a little too animatedly while driving down the road, lol. My Pathfinder has light tight on everythign except the windshield. I wouldn't have it any other way.

It really is surprising how much people can see... I used to feel safe in my first car until I had a friend drive it around the block and realized that I could see EVERYTHING. Haha. It's as if the windows were down. Decided to throw down $120 for a tint then realized that it felt a little too dark and I actually drove down with the windows most of the time anyways unless it was raining/early morning.. in both of those cases it was actually just worse with the tint because I couldn't see much. However with the car I have now they had a tint from the dealership and it's perfect, just a slight tint.

Lol, so you feel THAT conscious? Anyway, yeah cars that have no tint on really have no privacy, I mean, you can see the people in it very clearly and even from afar, so it would be quite embarrassing if you are seen sleeping with your mouth open or other unflattering facial expressions or bodily gestures, haha!
