It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend's car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences. - #TeamPW

    Sad indeed.

I heard it was in a Carrera GT and when first responders arrived on scene it was already in flames. I wonder what the nature of the accident was.

Police are saying speed had a part to play in it. I hear it was a twisty area. I also hear that Pauls employees heard about it and drove over with fire extinguishers. There was a bunch of people trying to put out the fire. Someone tried to cut Pauls seat belt to get him out but someone had to stop him because the flames were to intense.

Roger Rodas is said to be the driver. He is leaving behind a wife and two kids. Him and Paul met on a race track or something along those lines. Roger had a Porsche that Paul use to own so that is what started them talking. Roger has two wins in 6 podium finishes for the Porsche drivers championship. So he can drive.

This sounds like it was due to them speeding from what I've heard so far. However I wonder if they can determine that it wasn't some sort of malfunction or issue with the car itself - such as the brakes failing or something like that. What an awful way to go, I don't even want to think about that happening to someone. I was almost wishing they would stop emphasizing that they died in flames in the news articles - just seems distasteful to their families.

Oh no, he seemed like he was a really good guy... he was also very charismatic, and seemed very down to earth. What a pity... why people like that have to die?

There is no conspiracy at all. He was in a car that crashed. They talk about the tree but police say that he hit a light post. I think it just stopped at the tree. The people that make those conspiracy theories have some serious issues.

Precisely he came to my mind when replying to another post, and I don't believe in the conspiracy theory behind this car crash, but what use to happen with many stars believing that they are as almighty as they are on the silver screen.

But he wasn't driving. He also is into cars. Movie or no movie. There are many people that this happens to that are not in movies. Both Paul and Roger (the driver) are into cars and racing.

I see, I just thought that it might be possible that he uncovered some info and because of that he has been murdered. Because rumor has it that the relief goods for the typhoon Haiyan victims were laced with some birth control stuff, and he found out about it, so he was trying to find the right connections to get some help about it. But they were betrayed by a friend so they rigged his car. Only time will tell if it's true.

Why did you automatically think there was a conspiracy?

What relief goods? Looking at the site for ROWW, it looks like they deal more in medical help and personal that help get things open and so on. So who's food is it an who is saying it had birth control drugs in it? If that is the case, how does killing Paul hide any of that? If people know about it the day of or the day after it isn't a secret. So if you are doing wrong, and a lot of people know about it then you are going to be the first they look at. Bad idea.

Has the government ever covered anything up? Oh I'm sure they have with many things. Do I think this was a murder? NO.

Does anyone know if he went to the event in that car? How do we know that Roger didn't bring the car and Paul went in another car? If that is the case, how would they now he was going to go for a drive in the car later? If it was set for a certain speed, how do you know they didn't go that speed on the way there?

    It is not a conspiracy.

He was such a beautiful man. Sad.
This is the first I've heard of a conspiracy. Far fetched but huh.
That music video is great. Sad. Were they friends??

I believe they met for the first time on set. And from what I hear they became friends. Tyrese seems really broken up about it. As do a lot of other people. I think that shows you what type of person Paul was.

This is yet another sad news. He will be always remembered for his role in the fast and the furious.

Also, there is some videos doing the rounds stating that a CCTV caught the last minutes of his crash. Though, there is nothing much visible in the video but smoke. May his soul rest in peace!

Yeah I have watched that video. There is a lot of smoke as soon as it is in frame so it was already out of control by then. The fire started really fast.

He died while attending a charity event. The worst part is he wasn't even the driver. I wonder why good people always die early. Sometimes I can't help but think that this world sucks.

I can't stand TMZ. They have pushy "reporters ". They asked Vin when he stopped by the crash site if The movie would still go on. That isn't the time or place for that question. No the show a video of them asking the director. Its too soon. I know there are people that want to know but it is too soon .
