For my first car I got a deal on my uncles 88' Pontiac Sunbird. It was a great working car. What I wanted was a early 80's Chev Monte Carlo or a early 80's Olds Cutlass. They cost more then 3 times then I paid for the Sunbird for so it wasn't possible.

When that was wrote off I wanted to get a VW Jetta or a Jeep Wrangler. Didn't have the cash so I ended up with a 94 Ford Escort that I leased.

What I really wanted for my first car was a Lifted Chevy 4x4 Pick-up  It would of had 37" Tires with 17" rims, It would of been Red with black Tinted windows, of course it would of had sounds and neon lights the works:) What I got wasn't bad though it was a '85 Chevy S10 with a V8 350 in it:) So I guess I still got a good Truck just not 4wd:)

I wanted what I ended up getting: Infiniti G20. I had loved them since they first came onto the market and begged my mother to buy one for herself, she declined. When it was time for me to really buy a car, I went looking for one and the only other car that had my attention was a Mitsubishi Diamante.

Well I got a Civic SI 2010 that I chose, but it was only what I wanted from the choices I had.

The car was a gift so a Mustang GT was "too powerful". Instead I got a nice peppy civic.

    Works for me!

For my first car I wanted a Ford Mustang and I ended up getting a 1980 Mecury Capri which is like a Ford Mustang. My second car was a 1993 Mustang GT brand new off the show room floor and I finally got what I wanted and latter I go the tickets to go with it. Needless to say I will never own another hotrod lol.

For my very first car, I wanted a Hyundia Tiburon. This changed after I had kids, of course. I now drive a Trailblazer, ha.

Back then, what I got wasn't really important. It was just my husband and I, so all we wanted was something with the little money we had that was in good condition to move us around. We got a Dodge Avenger in great condition from an old friend for a very reasonable price.

The first car that we had was a 57 Desoto, and it was what my husband loved; so it really had nothing to do with what i would have chosen. After that car, we had several other Desoto Firedome V-8, and they were excellent vehicles, but seemed to take a lot of maintenance . Or, that might have been just because he drove it so fast, and also loved to spend the weekend tinkering with it, and trying to make it even faster.
As for myself; I have always preferred a small pickup. They are great for about anything you need to haul, easy on gas, and the right size for a short person like me to drive. I have had several, but my little green Mazda B-2200 was my very favorite, and I still sometimes drive that little truck in my dreams; so I guess , by definition, it is my dream car.
