Lately it's been like that :( But hey, that doesn't bother me that much, what bothers me is how useless doctors are over here :nailbiting::nailbiting::nailbiting::wtf: I'm not using any kind of painkiller right now, because they come with a lot side effects... not good for the tummy :arghh:

Erm, but you do know that your death date could actually get closer if you live a reckless life? Most likely it would, since they say we can really change our future.

@Trellum, have you tried going to a doctor in Amsterdam when you were there? How about seeing a US doctor? And how do you numb the pain if you don't take painkillers?

Going to the doctor in the Netherlands is super expensive :( Not possible unless I was working there and had paid insurance for that month... it's so expensive! :( Same with US doctors, if you have a good insurance all is possible, if not... well, you are screwed :( As for pain... well, I go to sleep if I can, works with the migraines.

How about public hospitals in the US? Are they any good? Over here of course the technology is not as advanced as St. Luke's for example, but I think they can at least get a decent check up.. Then compare it to what the doctors in the private hospitals would say..

Well, the problem is money, no way I can afford a check up in a place like that, not a chance  If I could I'd go to a mayo clinic, but no cash for that, lol. I truly wish I could tho, if I had the chance I would. I'm having the hardest time ever to get a head MRI over here... wish me luck!

Oh I see, how about the public hospitals there in Mexico, can't they at least help? You can go to multiple public hospitals and compare the doctor's opinions.. And always buy the generic medicines, they cost a whole lot cheaper than branded ones. Sometimes the branded medicine's price is like 10x higher than the generic!

I finally got a diagnosis... those horrible headaches seem to be caused by a very tough sinus infection. Yup, I',ve been like that for almost 2 months... i could get meningitis thanks to this! Took them so long to diagnose me, even tho I had all the symptoms... idiots...

Oh maybe because they lack the technical equipment to correctly diagnose it? What caused your sinus infection anyway? It is acquired through the air or something?

Isn't that easy to diagnose :( They suck, believe me! Even I knew I had sinus, I knew because my checkbones and forehead were tender when I tapped them. I also had headaches daily and a post nasal drip.

I think I got it because when I was abroad I caught a flu and I was stupid enough to go out like that. Maybe I got it since the start + a cold.

No, I don't want to know how I am going to die. I think it would bother me too much if I knew and couldn't do anything about it to change the outcome.

That's quite unfortunate! How about your bf? Does he help you financially with your hospital bills?

I wouldn't want to know when, where and how. It will probably take away my enjoyment of life. Just knowing that I will die one day is enough for me. Plus I might die prematurely of depression.

Nope, fortunately I have access to a free insurance, but as I've told you isn't good at all. The doctors won't listen to you so much because you're not paying them... :( The insurer doesn't pay them enough, but they work for them because they want to get a pension when they retire.

Ah that's too bad then. And about your bf, well you said that he is a cheapskate so I guess he probably won't offer to help you pay your bills then, lol.

Well, I don’t want to die with full of regrets and hatred so knowing when will I die would really help in my preparations. I also would like to live my life to the fullest. So I will probably create my own bucket list and finish it all before my scheduled death. Or spend more quality time with my family and friends. With this I’ll probably die happy and fulfilled.

@JaSanchez1986, yeah, pretty much like the movie huh? It is helpful to know when your time is up because you can change how you live your life and do the things that you've always wanted to do.

Lol, well, I never said that ;) He is a bit frugal when it comes to cash, he likes giving gifts from time to time, but has a hard time letting cash go.

@Trellum, Oh maybe you didn't, but based from your stories, he is one!, lol. I wonder if he will choose the cheapest school when your kids are about to study already, if ever you will have one, hehe.
