Hey everyone, I'm from Massachusetts, but not the area most of you think of. I live near the Berkshires in the Connecticut River Valley.

I love cars, especially older cars. I used to do a lot of work on them and began my love while helping to fix up a 1967 Mustang convertible with my father back in the 90's. I miss that time, and those engines that you could climb into while you were working on them. (My avatar is a 289 mustang engine).

I usually find myself at 2-3 car shows a year, but sadly missed the big one in NYC this year. My father went and had me drooling over the pictures he took.

    Looking forward to talking cars!

    Welcome to Gearhead Central @jdjac

I remember the space in the old engine bay. In some of the old trucks you could almost lay in. In my Jeep there isn't much room for dirt to lay in there.

I hit up a couple of shows in Florida while on vacation. I want to hit some around here. I need to look up some dates.

Which ones do you plan on hitting this year?

    Thank you for the welcome.

I was just at the GoodGuys car show in West Springfield. Excellent group of cars out there 85% were pre-90s and in beautiful condition.

I was going to hit the New York auto Show in Javitts Center in New York City; I had made plans to get there but had to be at work on a day I had requested to have off.

There are a lot of cruisin' nights around our area during the summer that I plan on attending at least a few of, but they are hit or miss with really nice cars.

And to get my Mustang Fix, I go to the Mustang's Unlimited show in Manchester Ct in June.
