Initially when I read the title I thought the guy must be sick. Upon reading I can understand the notion behind the guy. He didn't want to leave his girlfriend in some foreign place and actually endured the entire ordeal. He knew of the law that he has 48 hours so he's definitely not crazy, it's not that he kept the body or anything.

Same here, when I read the title the first time I thought he was some kind of sicko, lol, not hard to think that with such a misleading title! But once I read it I also understood his position... she just died all of a sudden and the guy didn't know what to do! Heck, I'm sure I'd not know what to do either to be honest. He is just so unlucky!

I haven't read the rest of what people are saying about this here on this thread, but I can identify a bit with how someone can feel this way. I have 2 mothers, the mother that gave birth to me, and the mother that raised me (my mother's aunt, my great aunt). When my mother (great aunt) passed away, it gave me comfort to know that she was in a place that was close to me. It helped me deal with her passing away a lot more than if she would have been somewhere far away.
