Who here has a tattoo? Or more?
I just got my first tattoo last night! I'm so happy with it! I got a trail of stars going down my neck.
It doesn't mean anything, but I saw it and I wanted it. LOL
    My kids were quite surprised.

    Congrats on the new ink!

I've got three tatoos, and I had them all done from the mid to late 90's. I was really into architecture at the time, more specifically gargoyles, so I had two done, one on my chest and one on my arm. On my other arm I got a symbol design I liked.

I have no tattoos at all, and I don't plan to get one in the future, but I'm just wondering how much does it cost to have a tattoo? How intense does it hurt?

Sidney, mine only took about 20 minutes to actually do. But the place I went to had a minimum charge. It was $60. They were highly recommended. I've heard the more you pay, the better the quality.

    Good going.. :)

I have never done a tatoo before and not sure I am going to have one done. But then there are many friends of mine who have tatoos and keep asking me to get one done. I am a bit concerned with the tatoo machines used here, so I just avoid.

I have two both on my back. Yes and one is in the "Tramp Stamp" spot lol. I got both of mine when I was in college about 10 years ago. Really did hurt but it is what it is.

I have four tattoos total on my body. I have one on my right hand, chest, stomach, and across my back. When I was a kid a fellow older member of a social club showed me how to make a tattoo machine with a Walkman motor, plug in adapter/charger, guitar string #12, waterproof ink, tracer paper, and a stick of deodorant. I put one together and got all my tattoos immediately by an older person. I hid them for years after that because I was so young and as I had gotten into my late teens it was causing issues for me. I am about 40 years now and I am good with not getting any tattoos of any sort. If I did get a tattoo it would be professionally done.

Gratz, trish! I'm afraid I'm not that afraid I'm not as brave as you are, so zero tattos for this chickie!!! LOL, but I've thought about it... but then I'd not be able to be buried in a jewish cemetary, I think. My granma freaked out when I pierced my navel, lol. I feel so sorry about that :( I never understood why she didn't want me to do that... now I do :(

I see, I've always thought the quality of the ink was the same, and the reason why the prices vary is because the bigger the tattoo, the more expensive it is. Maybe the farthest thing that I would go is the henna tattoo. :D

It would be like painting. The bigger the job, the higher the price. Plus the better the artist, the more money they can demand.

Actually I've been thinking about getting all three of mine removed. I've grown out of them, and while they are not visible to everyone, I would either like to have them removed completely, and/or removed then something fresh put over top of where they once were. I just can't bring myself to shell out the few thousand it's going to cost, and I've seen some bad results of tattoo removals that didn't work and the patient still had to pay up.

If your looking at new ones, why not talk to someone good at cover ups and see if there is something you can do for it. Might be a lot cheaper.

I see, I thought that there's a special kind of ink that's better than the cheaper ones. The artists that have their bodies covered in tattoos like Tyga or Chris Brown must have spent a lot of money on tattoos already, since I'm sure they hired an expensive tattoo artist.

I'm not sure on ink quality. There could be something to that as well. Some of their tattoos could be from before the money so they might not be that expensive.

Ah yeah I guess so, although I think Chris Brown just started having tattoos a few years ago since he still had no tattoos in his music videos that were released around 2009 and earlier. I think the most painful part would be having your private parts tattooed though.

I have a few scars on my back and shoulder, and I covered them with a big tribal tattoo. I also have a dragon black and white tattoo on my left leg.

I'm not a fan of tattoos either, I like my skin as it is, but maybe I'd consider it if I had scars like Chaos for example.

What about posting pics of the tattoos here people? :)

I don't have any tattoo nor will go for any.

Tattoos might limit your ability to get hired overtime if it's visible, and despite I don't have in mind go to apply for a job since I work from home , I cannot take out of my head old-fashioned thoughts heard throughout my life.

From my family to some of my close friends, whoever wears a tattoo is either an ex-prisoner, ex-sailor man, or an individual into drugs :|

Of course I don't share those thoughts and respect who chooses to wear a tattoo or a ton of them, only that I wouldn't like that those persons I said would think of my as a druggy, an ex-prisoner or an ex-sailor... moon :D
