Had some fun with the kids and wife today. We detailed our 2 cars and also my in laws car. My kids are 5 and 7 and they love to help when it comes to detailing cars. I even took some time to show them how to check the fluids in a car.

What did you do this weekend?

That's very productive and it's good that your kids have an interest in your line of work even if they may not necessarily follow it later on as at least they can be a helping hand in the mean time. I've got a couple of friends who are business owners and would love to have kids such as yours as often the kids want nothing to do with it lol which is a sad. I personally don't have kids but hope they will at least show some interest in my work as well.

Anyway, this past weekend I pretty much did routinely grocery shopping and had a chance to play some video games I had bought before but not had a chance to play.

I closed my detail shop about 5 years ago but still get asked to do it. But the kids are interested in helping daddy. I'm trying to be a firefighter now and they think its cool. My daughter said she wants to be a princess and a firefighter when she grows up. LOL.

It is sad when kids don't want to follow in a family business. I know more then a few people that have good businesses and their kids have no interest in it at all. I worked with my step father for years in construction helping with his business. I had to do other things for different reasons but it was good helping out.

It's pretty cool That your kids want to help with it, and want to do what you do. Also glad you fun this weekend, But those images are not showing up for me. Can you fix them or is it just me?

I noticed that they were not working last night just before I went to bed. I'm not sure what happened to cause that. I will have to look into that tonight after work.

Well, it has been raining for the past week but I managed to get out Friday night. One of my girlfriend has been going through a rough time and it was her birthday so took her out for dinner. We had a good time so I'm hoping her spirit has been lifted too. I couldn't do much on the outside because of the weather on Saturday and Sunday so we spend the days just wrapping as a family and watching football.
