Unfortunately in that case sidney I could not ask my relatives for help. My older siblings have jobs but they are not going to help me with finding one. I cannot ask my dad to help me either because he is never on the side of helping. I have no one else I can ask to help me so things have been tricky.

Oh so you're also not in good terms with your family? I can relate, lol. Although I'm sure if you guys were in good terms, they would naturally help, unless they have some hidden resentment towards you. What about your mom?

My mom and I go back and forth between understanding and distant. I cannot feel I have a strong connection with her since she miss communicate with me. I could remember one time we had bought a honey glazed ham from the grocery store. I remember we were home and it was around 9pm and my mom got mad at me and questioning where I put the oven rack something like that. Then she realizes that she mistakenly put it back in the oven. Remember another case where my mom had turned on the deep fryer and she did not use the timer like she should have. Then she made me fry the fries and when they were done she was upset with me but in reality she was the one who did not feel the fryer to ensure that it was hot enough. Every member of my family has miss communicated with me before and I just don't feel like I can have support from anyone there.

Sorry that you had so much bad memories. So, was it worth it any at all? What have you come away with that was an accomplishment?

The only thing I could ever say that was a accomplishment was that I got my high school diploma. When the diploma was obtained I did not get a congrats from anyone not even my parents. We had to go home and freshen up and they had to get me back out for Sober Grad night which that was okay. The good part about that night was that you could stay up all night and not have to worry.

I see, I guess you're mom is a bit scatter-brained. Or she is about to undergo or undergoing menopause already? But I think they're just small things. Don't let it upset your relationship. My mom was also unreasonable at times and quite impatient when she had her ovaries taken out, I think those are the hormones at work.

You know I just forgot about menopause to be honest LOL. I never really thought about that being a cause for certain behavior. My mom is a bit scatter-brained.

I enjoyed. As much as I love college, I had some of my best times there. It was a really small high school, but in a very big city. All the students knew one another, teachers were on a first name basis with us, and I did student government. It was a ton of fun.

I hated high school more towards the end. I did not enjoy it at all. I was on the verge of quitting it became so overwhelming.

I must admit i could have made it a little better. I wasnt very sociable and not involved in a lot of things. I started letting my grades slip when i knew i was capable of much more.

You must have been proud of yourself for obtaining a diploma. Sometimes parents don't show affection because they don't know how to. They were probably not brought up that way but the way they work hard to take care for you should be a testament of their love, so don't dwell on it.

Seems like it is that way which I concur. I still don't have that close of a relationship with anyone. I still have my class ring from graduation LOL.

I never had fondest memories with high school. I never would look back at it with a positive outlook.
