I think that if the road is good we can pick up a good speed, if the car also helps we can get to amazing speeds, but watch out, we need to have good hands or else a crash at that speed can be fatal.

The fastest speed I've ever droven would be around 120mph. I was seriously rushing that day, but usually I don't drive that fast. It's risky. I also remember once when my friend was driving me back home from a party he hit around 140mph.

Back when I was a whole lot younger, it seems like all we had were cars that went fast. That was back in the Sixties, and gas was cheap, so no one really worried about gas when it was under 20cents a gallon.
My ex-husband was always working on the engine of the vehicle, usually a truck of one kind or another, but he had several DeSotos, and those cars would just get up and go with the hemi-head engines; so going over 100mph was just cruising for him back in those days.

Even the old stock truck was pretty fast. I remember one day, I was going from Ellensburg to Yakima (Washinton state) and was racing a Camaro, and we were both doing around 100, and going up a long hill.
The old Chevy truck couldn't go any faster, but neither could that Camaro.

Now, I drive like an old Granny, but I am one, so that is ok by me.....

My record is just 80 or 85 mph. I hate the feeling of my car RPM's going way up and the feel of gas being drained from my car. It's kind of scary losing the feel of the steering wheel too.

Haha, sure, it's coming out of our pocket when we are driving fast, but it's a good feeling. If the car is good everything runs smooth even at high speeds, we don't even notice it. ;)

About 195kmph. (Hit the 200kmph on the speedometer, but real speed is different.) It was not so long ago, on the Clio. In miles that's about 120mph.
I like to drive fast, when I can clearly see there isn't much danger in it, specially for others.

I am certainly not a person who thrives on speed. The fastest I ever drove on the highway was 80 mph. I remember being in the car with my brother who drove almost 100 mph when he was taking me to school. That was really scary and I never sat in a car with him again. I'm not exaggerating either because from what his wife says, he still drives like a mad man on the highway.

Fastest I've been was about 100 when I was driving home with a friend, I was made sure to never let myself be in the same car as him, the other time was 120 mph on a race track, now that was seriously fun, too much faster and I was going to be scared sh**less that I was gonna loose control of the car.

To tell the truth, I have never really driven really fast. I am a new driver so for now until I am comfortable on the road, I drive at a little around and about the speed limit of my country which is 50kmph. I am a play it safe driver and I don’t have a lot of driving experience; hence I don’t take a lot of risk.

That is wise from you pickney, I mean, if we are still gaining experience we should not go too fast or else we can cause an accident.

One huge issue I see these days on roads are those probational drivers speeding. These drivers think that just because they own a car, they should speed recklessly. I think the reason why people get into accidents is because they are too sure of themselves, and don't realize the danger of speeding.

Fastest I've ever driven was about 115/120mph, it was on a recently closed race track in Orlando that, long story but it was one of the greatest experiences of my life.

That's true. I only started speeding a bit more when I felt comfortable on the road, and not with friends at all. Friends usually tell you to floor it, never follow such advices. Experience of a driver isn't based on years km driven, hours of wheel experience. I for example, in one year of license, drove over 40,000 km already. Made two travels back & forth to Portugal, from France(1400km) as the only driver without pause to sleep, and multiple 550km travels inside France. That gave me plenty of experience and the opportunity to live multiple road experiences that train you.
