Do you have a comfort food?

Thanks for the info Pascual. I often see my son doing some things with french fries and cheese and I refer to them as crazy stuff. I guess I can now call them poutine wanna be.

 

I like potatoes as well But they are not really popular over here, in those countries I told you about they eat it plain most of the time, they just boil it and that's it. I have had it that way, they most of the time mash it in their plate and add gravy! As poutine, well, as you can see it has cheese curds and gravy, a kinda weird mix for me to be honest

 

Grilled cheese sounds like a wonderful idea, I have heard about grilled cheese sandwiches! But have never tried them. Would love to try grilled cheese at least once

 

I have never heard such definition lol, but if so then my "comfort food" would be a lasagne with a vegetable salad.

 

It's becoming quite popular actually, more on the colloquial side I must say you have some really healthy choices when it comes to comfort food, most people choose highly processed foods as their comfort foods... I love bread and starchy veggies!

 

I really like burgers and fries which I help my mom make it all the time. I also like eating fried tilapia with some yellow rice on the side.

 

I like burgers as well I love my fries to be ''natural'' ones and not the frozen ones, yuck! Fried Tilapia is also delicious, if it wasn't so concerned about the fish coming from the pacific ocean I'd eat a lot fish and seafood For now I'll not be touching that

 

If lasagna and vegetable salad is what gives you that happy and relaxed feeling then it's definitely your comfort food. Most people get that from having ice cream, chocolate or baked products.

 

What's wrong with fish coming from the Pacific Ocean? Is this something that I need to google and do some research on, it their some really deep stuff going on?
I eat canned tuna and canned salmon, so I guess I'm safe? But, come to think of it, I do eat fresh fish from time to time, but I've never given any thought to where it comes from.
